QTiP25 for education students

For the first time, the Quality Teaching in Practice conference is offering a student ticket to any education student at an Australian university.

These tickets are $230 per person, discounted by more than 75% of the standard general admission price. Tickets include catering for the two day event as well as a pass to the networking function on Tuesday, 8 July.

The 2025 Quality Teaching in Practice (QTiP25) conference is your opportunity to deepen your understanding of quality teaching and gain practical insights that will set you up for success in the classroom. The conference is also a great way to network with teachers and school leaders from across Australia.

Attending QTiP25 will give you direct access to the latest research and evidence-based strategies that will support your transition from university to the teaching profession. A series of studies between 2021 and 2024 run by the University of Newcastle have shown that student teachers who participated in Quality Teaching professional learning just prior to their final internships felt less stressed and better able to connect their theory with practice in the classroom.
