All NSW public schools have had access to two DoE supported places at a QTR workshop since 2019. Schools that haven’t already used these will automatically have access to two additional free tickets.
In our email correspondence we identified how many free passes your school is eligible for. We ask that for any additional tickets you wish to purchase, that you select a ‘General Admission’ pass in the ticket drop down on the booking page.
Completing the Quality Teaching Rounds Professional Development Workshop will contribute 10 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivering and Assessment of NSW curriculum. This workshop addresses standard descriptors 1.3.2, 2.2.2, 6.2.2, 6.3.2, 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Further information regarding NESA’s maintenance of accreditation transition arrangements can be found on the NESA website.
We are committed to providing QT professional development with your health and wellbeing at the forefront of our planning. In order to continue providing high quality PD during these challenging times, we offer our workshops as an interactive learning experience while strictly adhering to NSW Government Health rules and regulations.
Should circumstances change, face-to-face workshops will be changed to an online format. In this case, workshop resources will be sent by mail to all participants prior to the workshop. However, if you register within 7 working days of the workshop, we cannot guarantee delivery before the first day. Resources will also be sent electronically prior to the workshop.
