A hands-on and practical one-day workshop, providing participants with knowledge and skills to design or refine a unit of work or sequence of learning using the QT Model and the backward design approach to programming. To gain the most benefit from this workshop, participants need to have a good working knowledge of the QT Model. This may be through engagement in Quality Teaching Rounds, classroom and/or assessment practice.
The QT: Strengthen Program Design workshop is for teachers and leaders who have recently participated in one or more of the following:
A set of Quality Teaching Rounds
Two day QTR workshop
QT: Enhancing Assessment Practice workshop
QT: Extending the Discussion masterclass
Participants will have the opportunity use the Quality Teaching Model to design/refine a unit of work or sequence of learning, drawing on the backward design approach to programming.
