Our QT: Creating Engaging Units of Work – Online professional development workshop approaches program design in an interactive, comprehensive way.

This Creating Engaging Units of Work – Online course uses the Quality Teaching (QT) Model and backward design process to enhance current practices and ensure high quality pedagogy underpins all your lesson and assessment planning. Whether designing new units of work or refining existing programs, the workshop provides time to focus on the art of learning and assessment design.
To gain the most benefit, you should ideally have a good working knowledge of the QT Model. This may be through engagement in QT Rounds, other QT PD or working with the Model in your own classroom or assessment practice.

Members of the QT Academy receive a 10% discount on all professional development. Sign up here: qtacademy.edu.au/become-a-member/.

The workshop includes the following sessions:

• QT Model and programming

• Backward design principles

• Designing or refining a unit of work/sequence of learning

For online workshops, participants engage in interactive activities facilitated using breakout rooms. Each participant needs to log in from a separate device to access the professional development. We recommend sourcing a quiet space to respect the learning of all participants.
