Our one-day workshop supports teachers and school leaders to enhance their assessment practice.

This Enhancing Assessment Practice workshop in North Ryde introduces participants to the Quality Teaching (QT) Model through practical activities that directly relate to assessment practices in schools.

Participants will work in individual, small and whole group contexts throughout the workshop to further their understanding of quality assessment practice. The Quality Teaching Assessment Practice Guide will be used as the basis for reflection and analysis of assessment tasks. All workshop materials will be provided.

Workshop price

The full-price QT Enhancing Assessment Practice workshop – North Ryde workshop fee is $550.00

QT Academy Members and NSW DoE staff receive a 10% discount at checkout $495.00

Schools are encouraged to register at least two people to develop sufficient school-based knowledge to support implementation. Ideally, one person would have some decision-making authority in the school.

NESA

The University of Newcastle – Teachers and Teaching Research Centre (TTRC) is a NESA recognised PD provider. Completing the QT: Enhancing Assessment Practice workshop will contribute 5 hours of PD addressing standard descriptors 3.1, 5.1, 6.2 and 6.3 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Further information regarding NESA’s new PD policy can be found on the NESA website.
