Professional development that prepares teachers for Quality Assessment Practice in your school.
We are closely following the advice of health authorities to guide our decision making in relation to hosting face-to-face workshops. Should circumstances change, this ‘face to face” workshop will be converted to an Online workshop and resources will be emailed and posted.
Participants will be notified of any changes by email.
This workshop introduces participants to the Quality Teaching Assessment Model through practical activities that directly relate to assessment practices in schools. Participants will work in individual, small and whole group contexts throughout the workshop to further their understanding of quality assessment practice. The Quality Teaching Assessment Practice Guide will be used as the basis for reflection and analysis of assessment tasks. All workshop materials will be provided.

This course addresses the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: 5.1.2; 6.1.2; 6.2.2; 6.3.2

*Only schools and participants who have not claimed free workshop tickets in previous years are eligible. Schools deemed ineligible will be invoiced the full ticket price.
Two free places per eligible NSW government school are available throughout 2020* Additional teachers per school are welcome; the above fee will apply.
