What is it?

This one-day workshop supports teachers and school leaders enhance their assessment practice using the QT Model. We recognise that student learning is shaped by what happens in their classrooms as well as the assessment tasks used to determine their understanding and progress.

The workshop provides an introduction to the QT: Assessment Practice Guide. Participants examine assessment practice and implications for their school. This professional development is highly interactive, ensuring teachers have the opportunity to apply their learning in the process of analysing and refining assessment tasks.

What is it?

This one-day masterclass is designed to provide teachers familiar with the QT Model with the opportunity to observe, analyse and engage in extended discussions of classroom practice with other teachers and workshop facilitators. Participants will deepen their knowledge of the Model and explore strategies for enhancing teaching more broadly.

Who should do it?

Teachers and leaders who have attended the two-day QTR workshop in the past 3 years and/or who have participated in a set of Quality Teaching Rounds.

What is it?

This one-day masterclass is hands-on and practical, providing participants with knowledge and skills to design or refine a unit of work or sequence of learning using the QT Model and the backward design approach to programming.

Who should do it?

To gain the most benefit from this masterclass, participants should have a good working knowledge of the QT Model. This may be through engagement in QTR, classroom or assessment practice, or other QT Academy PD.

What is it?

This practical one-day workshop is designed to ensure teachers and leaders have an up-to-date and accurate understanding of Quality Teaching Rounds. Participants will revisit the QTR process and have the opportunity to work with colleagues to observe, code and discuss an observed lesson.

Teachers and leaders who have previously attended a QTR workshop or participated in a set of Rounds and want to maximise its ongoing impact.

This one-hour webinar supports schools to re-engage with QTR after a period of interruption. It provides participants with a refresher of the QT Model and the Rounds process. Participants will consider implementation at their school and practical strategies for rebooting QTR.

Embedding QTR in your school

This one-hour webinar supports schools to embed QTR into their planning and processes. It provides participants with an opportunity to consider how QTR can be embedded, funded and evaluated as schools move into the next planning cycle.

Continuing with QT: Analysis of practice

This one-hour webinar supports teachers to deepen their engagement with the Quality Teaching Model in everyday practice. Participants explore ongoing enhancement of their teaching practice, drawing on their QTR experience.
