The questions of what to measure, how to measure it and how to interpret the results can be overwhelming in a system already full of data. Evaluation of Quality Teaching Rounds (or any specific initiative) is crucial in establishing feasibility and effectiveness at a school level. It is important to evaluate both the implementation and the effectiveness of an initiative, and a range of outcomes are desirable across multiple levels (students and teachers). This talk will outline an evaluation plan for Quality Teaching Rounds, with discussion of the concepts of measurement across time, using some simple and readily available tools.
